Sweater weather has us thinking about finding the best pumpkins at local patches, decorating our front porch with the cutest fall décor, indulging in delicious apple pies, and cozying up next to the fire to roast smores. Lucky for you, Chesterfield has a variety of local farms, each offering their unique touch on this popular time of year. But did you know that these local farms are open year-round (or at least open several months throughout the year) offering a variety of seasonal produce, and a glimpse into farm life?
Today, Oct. 12, 2024, is Farmers Day, a day to celebrate the profession of local farmers who spend endless hours maintaining and harvesting crops for all to enjoy. While we truly believe that these men and women should be honored every day, we hope you take the time to support them today!
